DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD – THE TRUTH ABOUT LIFE, ETERNITY, AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD

The Message of Jesus – Only the Chosen Will Receive It

✝️ Do Not Love the World – The Truth About Life, Eternity, and the Kingdom of God

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”
—1 John 2:15–17

We live in a world that constantly promotes self-glory, material wealth, fame, and fleeting happiness. Everywhere we look, we’re told to “live your best life,” chase success, and define our worth by what we own or achieve.

But Scripture paints a radically different picture. This fallen world is not our final home, and its ruler is not God—but Satan himself.

πŸ”₯ This World Is Ruled by Satan, Not by God

“Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.”
—John 12:31

Though God is the Creator and rightful Owner of the world, for now, He has allowed Satan to exercise limited dominion as the “prince of this world” (John 14:30). That’s why the systems of this world glorify sin, pride, and rebellion. The enemy’s goal is to blind people to the truth and lure them with false promises.

When people pursue worldly success, prosperity, and pride without acknowledging God, they become captives of this deceptive system. They do not feel the need for a Savior—because Satan convinces them they have already succeeded through their own power.

“The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.”
—2 Corinthians 4:4

πŸ™ Jesus Will Return for Those Who Long for Him

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
—Philippians 3:20

Jesus is not coming for those who are content with this world. He is coming for those who long for His appearing—those who groan inwardly for deliverance from sin, darkness, and deception.

If you enjoy a life of worldly pleasures without ever feeling spiritual resistance, you may still be living under Satan’s lies. But when you seek God sincerely, the spiritual battle becomes real.

πŸ’₯ The Tribulations of the Faithful

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
—John 16:33

When you turn your heart toward God, Satan will begin to oppose you—through trials, suffering, confusion, and isolation. But these are not signs of defeat. They are signs of your identity in Christ. If you are being attacked, it means you are no longer under the enemy’s control.

On the other hand, if you never face spiritual resistance, it’s time to ask: Have I truly surrendered to Christ?

⚖️ The Eternal Divide: Heaven or Hell

“Whoever is not with me is against me.”
—Matthew 12:30

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Satan is a liar—and those who love this world have bought into his deception. He will ultimately gather his own and lead them to his eternal dwelling place: hell.

But Jesus will gather His flock—the humble, the faithful, the redeemed—and welcome them into His eternal Kingdom:

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’”
—Matthew 25:34

πŸ’‘ The True Purpose of Life

The purpose of your life is not to enjoy this world—it is to know God and prepare for eternity. Everything else fades away. But your soul endures.

“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”
—Mark 8:36

When you put God first, Satan may strike harder. But fear not! Christ has already conquered the enemy. And those who endure in faith will share in His victory.

✝️ The Message of Jesus – Only the Chosen Will Receive It

This is the message of Jesus:

  • Deny yourself.

  • Take up your cross daily.

  • Follow Him.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
—Matthew 7:13–14

Only those chosen by God will accept this truth. They will walk in the peace of Christ, even in the midst of life’s fiercest storms.

✅ Final Call: Reject the World. Embrace Eternity.

So, give your highest priority to God and His Word, not to the fleeting pleasures of this world.

“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
—Proverbs 16:18

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
—James 4:6

Surrender your heart today. Seek the eternal Kingdom. Let go of the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, and the false promises of this world. Christ is calling.

πŸ“– Are you ready to follow Jesus—and reject the lies of this world?

πŸ™ Turn to Him now, and He will receive you. Forever.
