JESUS' RESURRECTION VS. EASTER: UNCOVERING THE TRUTH

Jesus Was Not Resurrected on Sunday!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of Christian faith, yet much of what the world believes about it has been distorted. Many people have been taught that Jesus was resurrected on Sunday morning, but if we carefully analyze the Scriptures and the Jewish calendar, we uncover a different reality.

According to the Jewish reckoning of time (Genesis 1:5), a day begins at sunset and ends at the next sunset. Jesus prophesied that He would be in the grave for "three days and three nights" (Matthew 12:40), which means His resurrection could not have taken place on a Sunday morning. Instead, Jesus was resurrected on Saturday before sunset, precisely fulfilling the 72-hour prophecy He Himself declared.

Exposing the False Narrative of Easter Sunday

Many Christian traditions today are not rooted in biblical truth but rather in pagan customs that infiltrated Christianity over time. "Easter Sunday" is one of the biggest deceptions ever introduced into the faith. Sun worshipers replaced the true resurrection of Christ with their pagan festival, twisting the truth and leading countless believers into a false narrative.

"Solar Monstrance Ostensorium". The Image that Catholics Revere

The Christian world is very familiar with this sun worship Relic by the Catholics.
Which includes the image of the sun with rays surrounding it.

The concept of an "Easter Sunday" resurrection aligns not with Scripture but with ancient Babylonian religious practices. The worship of the sun, the moon, and celestial bodies was common in ancient civilizations, and their traditions gradually made their way into Christian practices through deception.

The Pagan Roots of Easter

The word "Easter" itself is not found in the original Scriptures. Instead, it originates from "Ishtar," the Babylonian goddess of fertility and love.

Who Was Ishtar?

Ishtar, known in various cultures by different names (Astarte, Ashtoreth, and Eostre), was worshiped as a fertility deity. Her symbols included eggs and rabbits, both of which represented fertility and reproduction. Over time, these pagan elements merged with Christianity, distorting the true significance of Jesus' resurrection.

Ishtar was also part of an astral triad, which included Shamash (the sun god) and Sin (the moon god). Her emblem—a star with 6, 8, or 16 rays within a circle—was a symbol of sun worship. This same imagery can be seen in many religious symbols today, including those used in Catholic and Protestant traditions, unknowingly incorporating sun worship into their faith practices.

Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz: The Origin of False Religion

The story of sun worship and false religion traces back to Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz—the unholy trinity that laid the foundation for pagan worship worldwide.

  • Nimrod, the great-grandson of Noah, was a mighty ruler and the leader behind the Tower of Babel. He became deified as the sun god after his death.

  • Semiramis, his wife, claimed that Nimrod was reborn as her divine son, Tammuz.

  • Tammuz was worshiped as a god of fertility, and his death and supposed resurrection were commemorated through rituals that later influenced Easter celebrations.

This entire system of worship spread from Sumer to Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and eventually the entire world. Many modern religious practices still reflect these ancient pagan customs rather than biblical teachings.

The Tower of Babel in Mesopotamia
The story tells of a time when all humans spoke the same language and lived together in unity. They moved to a place called Shinar (in Lower Mesopotamia) and decided to build a huge city with a tower so tall it could reach the sky. However, God saw what they were doing and, realizing the power of their unity, decided to confuse their language. Suddenly, they could no longer understand each other, which led to chaos. As a result, they stopped building the city, and God scattered them across the world, leaving the tower unfinished.

How Satan Deceived the World

Satan, the father of lies, has always sought to corrupt God’s truth. He deceived Israel, God’s chosen people, leading them into idol worship. He instigated the Jewish leaders to crucify Jesus, and after the resurrection, he continued his deception by replacing biblical truth with pagan traditions.

The commercialization and distortion of Christianity have allowed Satan to keep people in spiritual blindness. Through false doctrines, misleading traditions, and widespread deception, the world has been turned away from Christ's true message of redemption. The truth about Jesus' resurrection is just one of the many things that Satan has worked tirelessly to obscure.

Why the Truth Matters

Understanding the true resurrection of Jesus is crucial because it corrects the falsehoods that have crept into Christian teachings over centuries. Jesus did not rise on Sunday morning—He rose on Saturday before sunset, fulfilling prophecy exactly as He said He would.

This revelation challenges us to re-examine what we believe and why we believe it.

  • Do we follow traditions that are not biblical?

  • Have we accepted pagan customs without questioning their origins?

  • Are we truly worshiping Jesus in spirit and truth (John 4:24), or have we unknowingly embraced sun worship in disguise?

Returning to Biblical Truth

As followers of Christ, we must return to the pure and uncorrupted truth of Scripture. The Bible warns us to be vigilant against deception (Colossians 2:8, 2 Corinthians 11:14-15), and now is the time to discern truth from falsehood.

Steps to Take:

  1. Study the Scriptures Diligently – Don’t just accept what has been taught; examine the Bible for yourself (Acts 17:11).

  2. Reject Pagan Traditions – Recognize that Easter, eggs, and bunnies have nothing to do with Jesus and refuse to participate in false traditions.

  3. Follow Jesus' Teachings Wholeheartedly – Let the Word of God be the foundation of your faith, not man-made customs.

  4. Educate Others – Share the truth with those around you so they can also break free from deception.

Conclusion: Worship the Son, Not the Sun!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most powerful event in history, proving His victory over death and securing eternal life for all who believe in Him. Yet, Satan has worked relentlessly to distort this truth and lead people into sun worship under the guise of Christianity.

Let us return to true biblical faith, rejecting pagan influences and following Jesus Christ as He commanded. Our life depends not on religious traditions but on the truth of Jesus and His Word.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." – John 8:32
