SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS VS. WORLDLY WEALTH - GOD'S BLESSINGS ARE SPIRITUAL, NOT MATERIAL
Seek First the Kingdom of God – Not the Things of This World
Those who obsess over food, clothing, and wealth without seeking God are
likened to pagans — people disconnected from the Kingdom of God. These
are not Kingdom seekers, but worldly chasers. And Jesus makes it clear: Your
Heavenly Father already knows what you need.
So why do we beg and strive? Because we live out of alignment with His
will. Instead of seeking God, we chase the world — and then expect God to
bless our rebellion. But God says: "I will turn My face from those who
do not seek Me."
If we are in tune with God's will, we don't even have to ask. He knows
what His children need. Learn to live as an obedient child of God,
and He will provide every necessity. True godly living results in peace,
provision, and purpose.
A man of God, filled with the love and care of the Father, is the
happiest man in the world.
But the wicked, greedy man never stops accumulating the junk of this
world. His hunger is unquenchable, and in the end, he will go to hell,
leaving everything behind.
God’s Blessings Always Mean Spiritual
Blessings
God's blessings are always Spiritual. Anything other than Spiritual Blessings is not a
blessing but a testing time! Material wealth may come, but it is used
for testing, not fulfilling. After the test comes judgment: either
reward or condemnation.
- The reward is always spiritual
because God is spiritual, and His gifts are eternal.
- Materialism is temporary,
hence worldly, hence from Satan, who uses it to test our
allegiance.
That's why Jesus said:
Let’s reflect on key scriptures:
- Luke 12:15 — "Life does not consist
in the abundance of possessions."
- 1 Timothy 6:10 — "Love of money is the
root of all evil."
- Hebrews 13:5 — "Be content with what
you have."
- Matthew 6:24 — "You cannot serve God
and money."
- Mark 4:19 — "Riches choke the Word
and make it unfruitful."
- Proverbs 11:28 — "Whoever trusts in
riches will fall."
- James 5:1–5 — "Weep, you rich, for
the miseries coming upon you!"
God tests us to reveal our spiritual content and character. The
purpose of testing is not to condemn but to awaken us. Through repentance,
blessings can come.
When we repent, ask for forgiveness, and walk humbly with Christ, we
encounter God's grace.
Salvation is not earned. It is gifted through Christ. Through
Adam, all sinned. But through Jesus, we have hope of eternal life. Not by our
works, but by His sacrifice. A life surrendered to Christ is
safe. A life apart from Christ is already condemned.
God Provides to Distribute, Not to
Hoard
"You chase God, and let riches chase you at His will!"
When God gives, He intends you to share, not hoard. Hoarding is worldly
and against the will of God.
Jesus said:
Where is your heart today? If it’s fixed on the things of this world, hell
is your destiny. But if your heart is rooted in the Kingdom, your treasure
is eternal.

Final Reflection: The Grace of God
Through Christ
We live in a fallen world, cursed from the beginning through Adam and
Eve. Sin entered all humanity, making us slaves to sin. But God sent
a Savior — Jesus Christ — the greatest blessing of all.
"If you can’t believe in Genesis, Revelation is foolishness to
you!"
God's grace is available, but it comes only through reverence for
Christ's sacrifice. Salvation is not about how good we are, but how much we
honor what Jesus did on the cross.
In the end, God will transfer what was hoarded in greed to those who live
in righteousness.
Choose wisely.
- Choose the Kingdom.
- Choose spiritual blessings.
- Choose eternal life in Christ.
The world passes away, but the one who does the will of God lives
forever.
