GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE THROUGH CHRIST: A BIBLICAL TRUTH
Introduction
God is the Creator of the universe, and He brought everything into existence through Jesus Christ. The Bible, which is the infallible Word of God, testifies to this truth:
"Through Him, all things were made; without Him, nothing was made that
has been made." – John 1:3 (NIV)
This profound truth underscores the foundation of our faith. Any teaching
that deviates from the Word of God is not from Him but from Satan, whose
ultimate goal is to deceive and destroy (John 10:10). By embracing God's truth,
we secure our souls, while rejecting it leads to spiritual destruction.
God Owns the World, But Satan Rules It
Although God created and owns the world, the Bible tells us that Satan is
"the prince of this world" (John 12:31, 2 Corinthians 4:4). This
means that worldly influences, apart from Christ, are under the control of the
enemy. Because of this, humanity desperately needs a Savior to rescue us from
sin and spiritual destruction.
Jesus Christ is that Savior—the only way to eternal life (John 14:6). He
came to redeem us from Satan's grip and restore our relationship with God.
The Eternal Nature of the Soul
As human beings, we are first and foremost souls, and our physical
bodies are temporary. The Bible emphasizes the eternal nature of the soul:
"What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit
their soul?" – Mark 8:36 (NIV)
Just as fish need water to survive, our souls need the Spirit of God to
thrive. Without God’s Spirit, our souls suffer and remain spiritually dead
(Ephesians 2:1). The soul never ceases to exist, but its eternal destination
depends on whether it is united with God or separated from Him. Separation from
God results in eternal suffering, but life in Christ brings everlasting joy.
Two Sources of Power and Knowledge
In this world, there are only two sources of power and wisdom: God’s
divine wisdom and Satan’s corrupted deception. Any knowledge or ideology
that does not come from God through Christ is ultimately from the enemy, even
if it appears wise by worldly standards (1 Corinthians 3:19).
While Satan remains under God's ultimate authority (Job 1:12), there is a
clear distinction:
- Jesus Christ
embodies divine truth, righteousness, and eternal life.
- Satan
represents deception, corruption, and spiritual death.
The most important question every person must ask is: Which side will
I choose? God has given us free will to accept or reject His truth, but our
choice carries eternal consequences.
"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me
and my household, we will serve the Lord." – Joshua 24:15 (NIV)
Jesus: The Only Truth
Jesus Christ is the absolute truth (John 14:6). If we are not standing
with Him, we are against Him (Matthew 12:30). There is no neutral ground when
it comes to faith. Anything that is not rooted in God's Word is ultimately
futile and destructive.
Worldly wisdom and human intelligence, when separated from God, become
distorted versions of divine truth. For generations, society has passed down
secular knowledge while neglecting God's eternal wisdom. This proves that
worldliness is in direct opposition to godliness (James 4:4).
But there is hope! Christ offers us a way out of deception and into the
fullness of His truth.
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you
free." – John 8:32 (NIV)
Call to Action: Choose the Light of
Christ
We all face a choice: Will we follow Christ, the light of the world
(John 8:12), or remain in darkness?
God desires for everyone to know Him and receive eternal life through
Jesus Christ. This is our invitation to step into His truth, reject the
deception of the enemy, and live in the fullness of His grace.
If you haven’t already, take this moment to surrender to Christ. Accept
His truth, walk in His wisdom, and secure your eternity in Him.

The world offers temporary pleasures, but only God's truth provides eternal fulfillment. Let us stand firm in Christ, seek His wisdom, and share His gospel, so others can find salvation.
