EARTH DAY CAN NEVER REPLACE OUR OBEDIENCE TO JESUS—THE CREATOR
"EARTH DAY CAN NEVER REPLACE OUR OBEDIENCE TO JESUS—THE
CREATOR"
The world cannot truly protect the Earth; it can only destroy it. Genuine
care for the environment is only possible when people obey the Word of God. The
root cause of environmental destruction is human greed, and there is no real
solution unless mankind forsakes this greed. As Jesus said:
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love
the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot
serve both God and money."
— Matthew 6:24
The real question is: Can mankind renounce greed? Sadly, the answer is
no. Humanity may forsake God, but it clings to greed, which is not just an
inborn trait in some but also a habit nurtured and glorified by the world. From
childhood, selfishness is often encouraged rather than discouraged. Parents
sometimes scold generous children for sharing, as if teaching them that
survival requires selfishness. This reveals an animalistic tendency in human
nature.
The only cure for greed is selflessness. However, true selflessness is
only possible when we depend on God for our needs rather than relying on our
own abilities.
Why Are Humans Selfish and Greedy?
To understand this, we must return to the Garden of Eden. There, Satan
cunningly separated humanity from God. Adam and Eve were created to live in
obedience to God, enjoying paradise in His presence. But Satan, the enemy of
God, deceived Eve into believing that eating from the Tree of Knowledge would
make her like God.
Before this moment, mankind knew only good—only God. But after being
deceived, humanity came to know both good and evil. This divided nature
torments mankind, as people are pulled between God and Satan. That is why Jesus
warned that we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24).
Satan’s goal was to make humans believe they were equal to God, leading
them to reject dependence on Him. As a result, they lost paradise and became
slaves to sin. Greed is a characteristic of Satan, whereas selflessness defines
God.
The Power of Jesus Over Satan
Though Satan holds influence over the world, Jesus is the only one he
fears. Why? Because Jesus demonstrated His power by conquering death. Satan can
destroy, but Jesus has the power to resurrect, descend from heaven, and ascend
at His will. Jesus proved that He is not only the ruler of heaven but also the
rightful King of Earth.
Jesus said:
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life—what you will
eat or drink; or about your body—what you will wear. Is not life more than
food, and the body more than clothes?"
— Matthew 6:25
This verse is a continuation of Matthew 6:24, reinforcing that greed is
unnecessary. Jesus was not being irresponsible when He instructed us not to
worry about material needs. He was reminding us that, as the Creator, He has
the power to provide for us. He can transform the Earth into paradise in an
instant. But humans struggle to trust in His words. Those who do trust Him,
however, witness His power.
If we depend on Jesus, we have no reason to be greedy or selfish.
Environmental destruction is not due to a lack of resources but due to
mankind’s greed.
The Deception of Globalism
If we trust in Jesus, we follow His will. If we do not, we unknowingly
fulfill the will of Satan. The idea that humanity can "save the
Earth" through environmental movements is a deception. Globalists use
environmental concerns as a tool to push their agenda, not to protect nature
but to control humanity.
Once globalism succeeds and a one-world government is established, Satan
will take control of it. He will rule with absolute power, and no one will dare
to oppose him. According to the Bible, this era will be known as the Tribulation
Period—the darkest time in human history.
Everything that mankind has achieved—technologically, economically, and
politically—will be turned against us by Satan to enslave and dehumanize God’s
creation. The Tower of Babel was an early attempt at global unification, which
God disrupted to prevent humanity from falling completely under Satan’s
control. Yet, globalists continue striving for this unity, blind to the
consequences.
They believe they are advancing the world, but in reality, they are
hastening the rise of the Antichrist. This is why many who understand the Word
of God resist globalism. The world, however, listens to Satan rather than
God—this is our greatest foolishness.
The Ultimate Hope: Jesus Christ
Only God can rule with justice and truth. Satan, the "father
of lies," will reveal his true nature once he seizes power. Jesus warned
us not to chase after wealth, prosperity, and technological advancements
because, in the end, these lead to self-destruction.
If people renounce greed and rely on God, there would be no reason for
environmental destruction. Instead, God could restore the world to paradise.
But the world refuses to obey, and therefore, destruction is inevitable.
Jesus assured us:
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well."
— Matthew 6:33
God's promises are unshakable:
- "Can a
mother forget her nursing child? Even if she could, I will not forget
you." (Isaiah 49:15)
- "I will
never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
- "Even if
my father and mother abandon me, the LORD cares for me." (Psalm 27:10)
The Final Judgment
If you believe in God's Word, you will witness His power. But the world,
deceived by Satan, follows false gods. All false gods are merely manifestations
of Satan in different forms. The true God is identified by one name: the Father
of Jesus Christ.
Jesus came from heaven without a biological father, proving He is the
only way to God. He sacrificed His life to save us from sin and from the curse
placed on mankind through Adam and Eve.
God knows humanity will not obey Him. Instead, people will follow their
own desires—the desires of Satan. Eventually, Satan will seize global power,
and the world will suffer under his rule. But in that time of great suffering,
people will cry out to Jesus for salvation.
And Jesus will return.
He will come with heavenly power and glory, leading a divine army in the
final battle known as Armageddon. He will defeat Satan, imprison him in
hell, and establish His reign from Jerusalem as the rightful King. The Bible
prophesies this:
"They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth."
— Matthew 13:42
The Warning and the Hope
The push for global government, a one-world economy, and environmental
control are all part of Satan’s agenda to enslave humanity. Globalization is
not about prosperity—it is about control.
If God divided the nations at Babel, why does mankind try to unite them
again? The answer: to seize power, paving the way for Satan to rule the
world.
This is what the Bible foretells about the end times.
Study the Word of God, stay alert, and avoid deception. Through Jesus,
you and your loved ones can escape destruction and receive the greatest
gift—eternal life in God’s kingdom. This is God’s ultimate plan and the
very reason He created us.
